“Rene and Georgette Magritte with Their Dog After the War” by Paul Simon
My dad always says “If I could only listen to one person’s music for the rest of my life, it would be Paul Simon and I would be completely happy with that.” I have to agree.
I can’t even decide on a favorite album. One day it’s Graceland, the next it’s Hearts and Bones, the next it’s Rhythm of the Saints. Some days it’s even Still Crazy After All These Years. And that’s not even including S&G, because what would I ever do without Bookends?
But this song, this song with the really long title, is always one of my favorites. It helps that I also like Rene Magritte a lot, though in all honesty, that might have something to do with this song.
