“Estates” by Cool Conductor
Marilyn aka Cool Conductor used to play almost every show Adam and I set up in Bloomington. She is so, so incredibly talented. Her and I briefly tried to start a pop band with the drummer from Arrah & the Ferns. I think she still plays in bands wherever she lives now, but Cool Conductor as a solo project ceased to exist sometime around late 2007, maybe early 2008. I could have easily picked any of her songs for this post, but this and “Transplant” will always be the first two I think of when I think of Marilyn.
